When you put a large group of martial arts students and masters together in a room, it would be fair to expect violence and mayhem. But when they are there to explore the philosophy of how we learn and achieve mastery over any skill, knowledge or ability, expect something special.
They are extremely disciplined, both physically and mentally and their tenacity is extraordinary.
I found myself in front of these keen and inquiring minds some time ago. We looked at, in great depth, the philosophical process we all go through when we attempt to take on new knowledge.
We then looked at various strategies to enhance learning and mastery of both physical and mental abilities. The atmosphere was electric. But when we touched on the secret behind “The Secret” the room almost exploded.
I could see ‘aha’ moments occurring all over the place and I have to say I have never been so excited after a workshop.
Fortunately we filmed the event.
